Monitors & webhooks
Watch pages for changes and receive signed asynchronous job events.
Create a monitor
curl -X POST https://app.crawly.cc/api/v1/monitors \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $CRAWLY_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"url":"https://example.com/releases","intervalMinutes":60,"webhookUrl":"https://your-app.com/hooks/crawly"}'Job webhooks
Set the account webhook in Dashboard → Settings. Async jobs emit job.succeeded or job.failed. Add an HMAC secret to verify deliveries.
- Use a public HTTPS receiver
- Return a successful status quickly
- Process idempotently by event or job id
- Never place API keys in the webhook URL
Monitor changes
The first check establishes a content hash. A later changed hash emits a monitor event to the monitor URL or account webhook.
Note: Webhook and target URLs pass Crawly’s outbound URL safety policy; private and metadata destinations are blocked.
